Delicious Soaked Almonds
Our almonds are grown in the Golden State of California on a co-op of small family-held farms. The farmers we source from take great pride in the quality of their produce. Their almonds are USDA-certified organic and of the grade #1 supreme, California nonpareil variety.
At Wildly Organic, we directly buy their almonds and then “activate” them through a special soaking and low-temperature dehydrating method in our facility. The final product is a delicious, crispy raw nut that our customers love!
FDA-Compliant, Raw, Organic Almonds
Per FDA regulations, all almonds sold in the U.S. must be quickly steamed for pasteurization purposes. We then cyclically soak and dehydrate the nuts at low temperatures. This process activates their full nutritional potential and delivers a deliciously satisfying crunch!
Scientific evidence suggests that eating 1.5 ounces per day of most nuts, like our almonds, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart disease.
Tasty Almonds With a Longer Shelf Life
Our almonds are of the nonpareil variety. These are widely considered the largest, and possibly the sweetest, type of almond.
Although almonds typically contain between 4-8% moisture, ours retain only 1-2% moisture once they go through our dehydration process. This process gives our organic almonds a longer shelf life while maintaining their taste and natural nutrients.
What Are the Benefits of Activating California Almonds?
These organic almonds are “activated” using a soaking and low-temperature dehydrating method in our facility. By soaking nuts, phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that may interfere with nutrient absorption are broken down. We then dehydrate them at low temperatures to preserve nutrients, micro-nutrients, and enzymes.
The end result is crispy, great-tasting raw nuts. We take extra measures, such as excellent quality control, cool storage, and vapor barrier packaging to preserve freshness. At Wildly Organic, you get only the best.

Frequently Asked Questions
Want to learn more about our almonds before making a purchase? Here are some questions customers usually ask us.
What is the difference between regular almonds and California almonds?
While these almonds are both delicious and full of good nutrients, the ones from California may be a richer source of vegan proteins and vitamins such as vitamins A, B, and E. They’re also less caloric-dense with a more subtle flavor and a crunchier texture.
Are organic almonds good for health?
Our almonds are excellent for your health. They’re packed with nutrients such as healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals like calcium, phosphorus, and potassium. These nutrients may help lower blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels. So try to include a handful of them in your diet.
How many almonds can I eat per day?
Almonds are a rich source of healthy fats. While Wildly Organic almonds have fewer calories than regular ones, you should still eat them in moderation. Try not to consume more than 23 almonds per day. You can eat them raw or use them in recipes like these Chocolate Almond Butter Cookies.
What are the benefits of eating soaked almonds on an empty stomach?
Studies show that eating almonds that have been soaked on an empty stomach may help improve your metabolism. This benefit makes almonds a great ally in your weight loss journey. You can snack on low-calorie almonds instead of unhealthy snacks like chips to manage your weight and avoid obesity. Just don’t eat too many — nuts should always be enjoyed in moderation.
