Our Certified Organic hazelnuts (filberts) are fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We work hard to source the highest quality nuts available and take additional measures, including refrigeration and vapor barrier packaging, to ensure that you'll always receive the best raw hazelnuts. We offer several package sizes including our twenty-five-pound bulk organic hazelnuts and wholesale hazelnuts that are available upon request.
According to the FDA in July 2003, "Scientific evidence suggests, but does not prove, that eating 1.5 ounces per day of most nuts, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease." If you’re looking to incorporate more organic raw hazelnuts into your diet, there’s no better place to find this nutrient-dense superfood than from Wildly Organic.
Preserved At The Peak of Freshness
At Wildly Organic we do everything possible to ensure you receive the most delicious and highest-quality nuts available. We start with raw hazelnuts that we soak and dry under controlled conditions with commercial equipment in a USDA-inspected kitchen.
They are an excellent source of Vitamin E, manganese, and copper. They are also a good source of magnesium, thiamin, and fiber.
Did you know that eating 1.5 ounces per day of most nuts may help reduce the risk of heart disease? Scientific evidence suggests that adding healthy nuts, like hazelnuts, to a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may improve your heart health.
What are the Benefits of Soaking and Dehydrating Nuts?
Our raw hazelnuts are “activated” in our facility by using a soaking and low-temperature dehydrating method. Soaking the nuts breaks down phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that block your body’s ability to absorb some of the nut’s nutrients. Our organic hazelnuts are dehydrated at low temperatures so we can preserve those enzymes, nutrients, and micro-nutrients.
This special process makes our bulk organic hazelnuts super tasty and crispy. We go the extra mile to make sure all of our nuts are made under quality control practices. When the process is complete, we store our hazelnuts in vapor barrier packaging in cool storage to help preserve their freshness so you receive only the best hazelnuts!

Can You Eat Raw Hazelnuts Directly?
Yes, raw nuts are safe to eat directly and should in fact be consumed raw to enjoy more of their full nutrient benefits. However, some people don’t like the raw taste and prefer to roast the hazelnuts slightly to enhance the flavor.
What Are the Benefits of Organic Hazelnuts?
Hazelnuts that are grown naturally are not only great for your health but also for the health of the environment. Chemical-free cultivation reduces the ecological impact of farming and keeps harmful substances out of the ecosystem. Organically grown hazelnuts are also healthier for you since they don’t contain any chemical residue.
How Many Raw Hazelnuts Can You Eat in a Day?
For most adults, a small handful or a serving of 1 ounce of hazelnuts a day should be enough. But if you’re consuming hazelnuts to achieve a specific health goal, your daily intake would differ. Just remember to consume them in moderation since they’re dense in nutrients and calories.
What Can You Use Organic Raw Hazelnuts For?
Raw hazelnuts make a fantastic nutrient-rich snack but you can also use them for making a variety of healthy, culinary delights such as baked goods, butter, sauces and dressings, desserts, cereal and yogurt toppings, and ice cream. Check out the recipes on our blog!
